Songwriter Series

Logo, Identity, Branding, Print Design, Digital Design

The Challenge

A logo identity was needed for a songwriter series spotlighting some of Georgia’s homegrown talent. Each performance would feature multiple Georgia musicians in the places that inspire them. Cities participating included Athens, Augusta, LaGrange, Rome, Savannah and Valdosta.

Solution

A Brand identity system was created to be consistent throughout all the touchpoints for the concert series. The basis of the logo was to highlight the microphone under a spotlight, inspired by the intimate settings of the venues chosen for the concert series. This included a framework to produce posters and ads which could easily be updated for the venues, artists and sponsors.

Harmon Heavy
Equipment Services

Logo, Identity, Branding, Print Design

The Challenge

Harmon HES provides mechanical repair and maintenance to heavy machinery including but not limited to: trucks, tractors, and eighteen wheelers. They provide everything from basic maintenance to complete mechanical overhauls. They needed a logo and a flexible design system to get them started on their journey to becoming a recognizeable brand.

The Approach

The idea behind this concept was to represent a tone which was friendly, strong, personable and knowledgeable. It also needed to have a recognizeable symbol. The thick bar that separates “Harmon” from the rest of the name and below the H in the icon signifies weight. The icon used is inspired by gears in a vehicle, a very important element for any automobile. It will serve as a flexible graphic element as your brand grows and business expands.
